During Covid-19 restrictions, it will be necessary to limit the number of people entering our setting. This will mean we will not be able to provide childcare for as many children as we would normally.
Hopefully, this will improve in the near future but we need to do everything we can, in order to keep everyone as safe as possible.
We will endeavour to keep children and staff, (who work in the school) in the same year group bubbles, in line with the school, to avoid unnecessary contact with others.
It will be necessary in some cases to join two year groups together, due to the limited space available to us. We have different children attending breakfast club and after school club,
also attending on different days. This will prove to be a challenge but with regular cleaning and allocating areas for each bubble, this will reduce the risk.
The bubbles will be in colour groups, to make it easier for all concerned. We aim to have a maximum of 8 in each bubble and 2 bubbles in each room. These will be as follows:
Foundation & Year 1 - Red Group
Year 2 & Year 3 - Yellow Group
Year 4 - Purple Group
Year 5 & Year 6 - Green Group
Each bubble will have a member of staff allocated to them, to take care of them. Bubbles will not be allowed to mix.
Children will be signed in and out of the club by staff members, in order to limit who enters the club. Parents should remain outside, following the social distancing guidance.
In the morning, a senior member of staff will be on hand to welcome children into the breakfast club, ensuring they following the distancing rules and sanitise their hands.
Parent collecting children from the after school club, will need to use the security system in the usual way and then step back to a safe distance to allow their child to be escorted out.
This is all a new way of operating and we know there are likely to be some issues to overcome but we will do our best to continue to provide quality childcare. If parents have any concerns,
please contact us by text on 07964540067 or email funtastic.club@googlemail.com and we will address them. We need parents to work with us in order to keep children relaxed and happy,
during these difficult times and appreciate all feedback.
